Smokey Hot Toddy

PROCEDURE

Put hot water in a heatproof mug to warm it up and then discard the water. Combine all the ingredients in a mug and stir briefly.

Express oils from a lemon peel on the drinks surface, rub the peel around the edges and drop the lemon twist in.

Garnish with a freshly grated nutmeg.

  • 60 ml smokey whisky

  • 15 ml simple syrup

  • 100 ml boiling water
