Light Dragoon Punch

PROCEDURE

Brew the tea and add the sugar, stir to dissolve. Set aside and let cool. Add lime juice, Metaxa, rum and Koskenkorva. Refrigerate for at least an hour. Before serving, combine punch with club soda in a punch bowl with some oranges and lemons sliced. Serve in a cognac balloon glasses with ice and some fruits inside. 2-3 ladles of punch per serving.

INGREDIENTS (yields 20 drinks)

  • 1 liter strong black tea

  • 200 g sugar

  • 1 liter Metaxa

  • 250 ml Plantation rum

  • 60 ml Koskenkorva

  • 1 l lemon juice

  • Splach of club soda

NOTE

You can do a pre-mix of 2 bottles. First one is tea + sugar, second - all the alcohol combined. Per serving it is 2 shots from each bottle + 1 shot of lime juice + splash of soda.
